CRAFTSMEN from Southampton marine outfitting specialists, Trimline have been working on the little and large of the shipping world during their latest contracts.
At one end of the scale was the 1934-built paddle steamer, SS Tattershall Castle, a familiar sight on the Thames Embankment in London. At the other end was the luxury 51,044ton five-star cruise ship Crystal Symphony.
The marine interior experts have spent the past two months working for George Prior Engineering at Great Yarmouth to return SS Tattershall Castle to pristine condition in her role as a floating bar and night-club moored in the capital.
At the same time another Trimline team has been carrying out extensive work on more than 60 cabins on the Crystal Cruises vessel while she was being refitted in Lisbon, Portugal.
