SOUTHAMPTON'S Andy Morgan-Lee put in another top performance on roads around the city as he claimed the Lordshill 10k.
Morgan-Lee, who competes first string for Salford Harriers when not flying the flag for Southampton Running Club, completed the course in little over half an hour and crossed the finish line unopposed.
Second man home was Bournemouth AC's Mark Hargreaves, who was also on his own in front of Chichester AC's James Baker.
But the "Loneliness of a Long Distance Runner" tag went to Bristol AC's Amy Stiles, who broke through the winner's tape almost seven minutes in front of the second-placed woman, Penny Clayton of South West RR (41.54), with Southampton Running Sisters' Sally Gilbert third (42.20).
Southampton Running Club dominated the team events, winning both the men's and women's title with ease.
Lordshill Road Runners' popular ten-mile race is on November 7.
