For details of the next NWR meeting, call Gill on 01256 882106.
GARDEN: White Gables, Breach Lane, is open on Sunday, July 4, from noon to 5pm.
This garden is the work of Terry Raisborough, who was awarded the title of "Flower Gardener of the Year" last year and her garden was featured in the magazine Gardens Monthly. This allows Terry to open her garden under the National Gardens Scheme.
Admission is £2.50 (children free) with home-made teas and plants for sale.
Proceeds are in aid of Mencap, Macmillan Cancer Relief and the Loddon School.
Please park in the village, and no dogs please.
If you can't make July 4, an alternative viewing may be possible, call 01256 882269.
TEA@3: This was a huge success. Doreen said: "We had a lovely afternoon and everyone enjoyed it immensely. A sum of £327.10 was raised for St Michael's Hospice, which I thought was excellent."
SUNDAY: There is a Songs of Praise event on the Green at 11am, followed by children's games and a picnic.
