GARY HUNT was the Southampton Diving Academy's most successful performer when The Quays hosted the ASA National Diving Championships.
The 20-year-old won two golds in the synchro events and three silvers and a bronze in the individual events.
His scores enabled him to qualify for the Talented Athlete Sponsorship (TAS) scheme.
In partnership with Tom Owens (18) on springboard and with Gavin Brown (19) from City of Leeds Diving Club on platform, he took convincing first places in synchro - earning them all a place on the TAS scheme.
Individual golds were taken by Charly Tomkys (19) and Christian Brooker (21).
Christian took his gold on 1m springboard, diving as a guest. He has recently joined the club, coming over from Australia, where he is ranked third in the country, to coach and train with Lindsey Fraser.
He won his gold by 55 points and was squeezed into the silver position by only three points on 3m by international diver Blake Aldridge.
Ciaran O'Reilly, 15, took a bronze medal on 1m and silver on 3m springboard in the Junior events and reached the required standard to train with the Junior Olympic Programme (JOP) on 3m.
This triumph came just two weeks after gaining sufficient points to join JOP on highboard when he took his bronze medal on platform at the Age Group National Competition.
In addition, in partnership with his brother, Patrick (16), he took bronze in the Junior 3m synchro event and partnering Max Brick, 11, he secured silver in the synchro Junior platform competition.
Chris Farrow, 12, was unlucky to miss out on joining Ciaran on the JOP when his excellent performance on the 1m board fell just a few points short of the qualifying score.
It did, however, earn him silver in the Junior competition and sixth overall in the Senior event.
Natalie Hill, 16, took bronze in the Junior event on the 1m board and achieving a TAS qualifying score.
In the synchro events 12-year-olds Ellie Steel and Emily Alderman won bronze in both the Junior and Senior events on platform.
Anna Bennett-Britton, 15, missed the qualifying standard by only 0.7 points on the 1m board.
