Paultons aim to regain the winning formula against Leckford tomorrow - and put themselves in a confident frame of mind for Sunday's demanding npower Village Cup duel against Findon in West Sussex.
With skipper John Robinson sidelined by a shoulder injury, Paultons have lost their last two Southern Electric Premier League matches to Portsmouth & Southsea and United Services.
But a home match with lowly Leckford - who broke a six-match losing sequence against Hook & Newnham Basics last weekend - ought to get them back among the Division 3 leaders.
Paultons know they will have to pull out all the stops if they are to win their Village Cup tie at Findon, who knocked out Easton & Martyr Worthy on the way to the semi-final last season.
Leaders Rowledge, who visit Langleybury on Sunday, are flying high at the top after nailing Hungerford last week.
They face a tricky visit to Havant II tomorrow, while Trojans make three enforced changes for the likely away banker at Hook & Newnham Basics.
Nigel le Bas, Chris Mitchell and Jamie Donaldson are all out of contention, but Simon Williams - fresh from a career-best 149 against Bashley (Rydal) II last week - is able to call up Mario Mohamad, Tim Felstead and Jamie Wood, who returns from a fact-finding visit to Egypt.
