With a new engine in his Rover 216 GTi Matt Speakman headed to Pembrey, South Wales for rounds five and six of the Super Coupe Cup with the aim of finishing both races untroubled.
Following from his bad start in the first race Speakman had a task to catch his rivals.
A spin at the exit of the fast dibeni corner led to a front wheel catching fire leaving Speakman to limp home, collecting a few points for the championship.
