THE Verwood-based Crescent Rizla Suzuki team were celebrating a bonus win at Brands Hatch on Sunday.
Just two weeks after breaking his collarbone at Thruxton, the team's top rider, John Reynolds, turned out - and won - at the Kent circuit!
It was a feat which astonished medical experts and extended Reynolds's lead over Honda's Michael Rutter in the British Superbike Championship.
Reynolds ran out of steam second time out and finished seventh as young Leon Haslam chalked up his first Superbike win.
Two Hampshire riders achieved top six finishes in the Virgin Mobile Yamaha R6 Cup race.
Winchester's James Hillier stayed in contention for overall title honours by taking fourth place while Eastleigh's Daniel Bray followed up a good performance at Thruxton with a sixth at Brands.
The race went to Richard Wren - his second win in a row.
