SAINTS star Anders Svensson was guest of honour at the Shirley Swimming Pool Championship.
The annual event, the fifth to be held at The Quays, attracted 130 youngsters who captivated an audience of over 400.
Svensson presented the medals before jetting off to join up with Sweden for Euro 2004.
Stars of the evening were the youngest age groups - Charlie Naylor, 6, won the girls 25m backstroke in 27.17sec and freestyle (30.05sec) while George Whitcombe was unstoppable in the boys.
Sam Richards won every event in the 7 years age group alongside Rebekah Belward, who narrowly stayed ahead of joint silver medallists Ellie Hickman and Bethany Clarke.
In the eight years age group, Lydia Manning and Robert Barrett were top girl and boy.
In the Turtles section, only three points separated the first four girls - Rosie Minardi winning from Chloe Harris, Sophie Moussa and Catherine Lovette.
Ashley Ball impressed in the freestyle and backstroke but was pipped for overall first by Christian Bell.
Lauren Davison dominated the Dolphin girls in the 9 year old age group with five straight golds, pushed all the way by the younger Rachel Holland.
Georgia Richards, 10, snatched the gold by one point from Grace Mwakisunga in the 100m Individual Medley to add to her wins in the butterfly and backstroke.
Joshua Smith led the boys throughout the ten years boys events, only losing out to Adam Moussa in the final of the butterfly.
The spoils were shared in the 11 years girls, Amy Kibler and Chiara Wall sharing the golds, while Elliott Culley dominated the boys races for the second year running.
Phillip Manning also swam to victory in the 12 year old boys.
