HOLIDAY club: There will be a different venue for the Immanuel with St Mark's Children's Holiday Club this summer.
Due to the building work going on at St Mark's Primary School, the club will be held at St Mark's Church at the bottom of Homesteads Road in Kempshott.
The club is for primary-aged children up to Year 5, and runs from August 2 to 6, from 10am until 1pm.
If you would like your child to be part of the fun, please pick up one of the application forms available at the community centre.
The closing date for the return of the forms is June 30.
ALL the fun of the school fair: Last week, Hatch Warren Infant School held its annual school fete and fundraising. The children took part in sponsored races, and were able to enjoy stalls and activities.
PHONE mast news: The application by operator T-Mobile for a mast close to Cliddesden Lane has been turned down by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
Mast campaigner Simon Preedy reports that the committee felt that T-Mobile had not undertaken proper consultation with local residents and had not listened to their requests for the mast to be located a little further down the lane away from Birches Crest.
