BOROUGH council election result: I am pleased to be able to tell you that I was re-elected as borough councillor for the Baughurst ward in the elections held on June 10.
I would like to thank everyone who supported me and voted for me, and a special thank you to all who helped with numerous deliveries of literature.
The Baughurst ward covers the whole of Baughurst plus Wolverton, Wolverton Common, Stoney Heath, Pitt Hall and Ewhurst.
This is a large and diverse area, but I am available to anyone living within that area to discuss and help solve problems.
Call me on 0118 9816033 if you need help.
BAUGHURST Parish Council elections: These were also due to be held on June 10, but as there were only the same number of people nominated as there were seats available, no voting was necessary and all 11 councillors returned unopposed.
These are the same councillors as before and there are four for Baughurst, four for Baughurst Common, and three for the Wolverton ward.
The next meeting of the parish council will be held at Wolverton Village Hall on Thursday, at 7.30pm. Any parishioner is welcome to attend.
BAUGHURST Society ramble: Sadly, Mr Dennis King, a member of Baughurst Society committee, collapsed while taking part in the Baughurst Society summer ramble last week, and died shortly afterwards.
My deepest sympathy goes to his wife Pam, and their family.
His funeral is to take place at St Stephen's Church, Baughurst, today, at 11am.
ASHFORD Hill School summer fete: On Saturday, June 26, from 3pm to 6pm.
