THIS is the latest attempt by Hampshire detectives to track down the chief suspect in their hunt for the killer of student Hannah Foster.
The new wanted poster has now been circulated in India where Maninder Pal Singh Kohli is thought to have vanished.
As reported in the Daily Echo, a new multilingual poster was produced to mark the first anniversary of Hannah's death in March.
Now the poster showing two pictures of Kohli in different guises has been circulated in the Punjab advertising the reward of the equivalent of £65,000 for information leading to the capture of Kohli.
Det Supt Alan Betts, who is leading the investigation into the murder of Hannah, codenamed Operation Springfield, said he remained confident their prime suspect would be found.
He said: "I am confident that that it is only a matter of time before the Indian police locate him and we can progress to the next step - an extradition hearing.
"We are in regular contact with the Indian police and are confident that they are making progress with this inquiry."
Seventeen-year-old Hannah, who lived with her parents and younger sister at Grosvenor Road in Highfield, was abducted on her way home from a night out with friends in Portswood on March 14 last year.
Her body was found two days later.
She had been raped and strangled.
By the time Kohli was identified as the prime suspect in the murder hunt he had fled to his native India.
Since then he has remained at large despite two visits by Hampshire detectives to help their Indian counterparts.
As reported in the Daily Echo earlier this month, the head of the Indian police investigation paid a visit to Southampton where he assured Hannah's family of the commitment of his force to the inquiry.
Mr AA Siddiqui also revealed how detectives had been working on a new lead in the form of a telephone conversation thought to have been made by Kohli to friends or family in Hampshire from the Punjab area.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Echo, Mr Siddiqui said he felt the net was closing in on Kohli, whom he pledged to capture to help ease the Foster family's suffering.
He said: "I can only promise that we will get the man thought to be responsible for Hannah's murder."
