COMEDY star Rob Brydon will bring his most famous creation to life on stage this autumn.
The Keith Barret Show - Live comes to The Anvil, Basingstoke in November and sees Brydon recreating the role of the philosophising chauffeur, who became an unlikely sensation when the BBC2 series first aired.
The stage production closely follows the format of the TV series as Keith attempts to answer the eternal question - what makes a successful relationship?
Audiences can expect the familiar brand of comically downtrodden but always positive humour as Wales's most famous divorcee delights audiences with his woeful experiences of personal relationships.
This year has been a busy one for Brydon. In addition to the release of the second series of Marion And Geoff on DVD and a BAFTA nomination, he has also been given his own prime-time BBC2 talk show.
Brydon, who first came to prominence in the series Human Remains, cemented his reputation as a modern comic genius with his most recent series, Director's Commentary, in which he plays a washed-up TV director talking the audience through some of his finest screen moments.
