HAYLEY Pointer followed up her first Hampshire Schools' title with an easy win for New Forest Juniors in the Wessex Young Athletes' League at Southampton.
The 15-year-old Noadswood School student had little competition as she won the under-17 women's 1,500 metres in 4min 55.3sec.
Just 24 hours earlier, Pointer had savoured 3,000m intermediate girls' success in the county schools' track and field championships at Portsmouth in a 10.31.0 time.
Tiffany Markham, a schools' silver medallist in the 75m hurdles (12.4), notched up two under-15 wins in the hurdles (12.7sec) and the B 200m (28.3) and was second in the long jump (4.20 metres).
Chloe Foot topped the B 100m (13.9) and B long jump (4.02) and then teamed up with Markham, Rosie Cooper and Rachael Smallwood for a 55.9 relay triumph.
Oliver Tarbard had an unexpected win in the under-13 boys' javelin with a handy throw of 29.31 and was runner-up in the hurdles (14.2) and long jump (4.08).
Jackson Ainley topped the B javelin (18.69) and was third in the 1500m (5.53.9), while Tom Brunner won the under-17 men's long jump (4.92) and took 200m third (26.1).
Millie Scott won the under-13 girls' 800m in 2.48.7 and Ailsa Roberts continued her winning ways in the javelin, topping the B under-13 event (11.44). Roberts was also third in the 200m (29.9).
NFJ return to action tomorrow in the National Junior League at Basingstoke.
Match result: Newbury 458, Jersey Spartans 396, Bournemouth 380, Team Kennet 313, Weymouth St Paul's 249, New Forest Juniors 243, Salisbury 152.
