SAINTS striker Marian Pahars could be in line to start Latvia's Group D encounter with Germany tomorrow.
Coach Aleksandrs Starkovs has confirmed that Pahars will play a bigger part in his country's remaining games after he came on as a late substitute in the defeat to the Czech Republic.
Pahars, dogged by injury in the last 18 months, has been building up his match fitness and Starkovs is confident his talisman will be ready.
He said: "Marian is only now recovering from his injury, but in the next games we will definitely be using him more since he is a high quality player."
