A LUCKY Daily Echo reader has broken her 20-year Find the Ball losing streak in spectacular style, by scooping the £50,000 jackpot.
Grandmother Ivy Miles, 69, has never previously won a penny in the Daily Echo contest, despite religiously playing it for more than two decades.
She was overwhelmed to be told she had won such a large amount of money.
Mrs Miles said: "I just can't believe it, I'm absolutely flabbergasted.
"I've been playing every week for years but never won a thing. Every week I take the coupon into my newsagent and he always says 'Still no luck, then'.
"I've never even thought about what I might do if I won but I think I will buy John a new television and we will probably go on holiday."
Mrs Miles lives on the south coast with her husband John.
See tomorrow's Daily Echo for your chance to win this week's £10,000 Find The Ball jackpot.
