THE Hamble River Bus is back in action for summer day-trippers looking for a relaxing and scenic way to travel between beautiful Hampshire locations.
The popular service went down a storm when it operated for the first time last year with links to Manor Farm Country Park, Bursledon, Hamble village and the riverside attractions of the Hamble valley.
This year the River Bus will also provide access to the Strawberry Trail, a long-distance walking route that links Hamble and Botley.
The service will start again on June 26 at 10.15am. The Priory Hard Shanty Singers will be at Hamble waterfront to hail the first service of the year from the Blue Star kiosk before joining passengers on board for a sing-song.
The River Bus operates on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays until August 29 and then weekends only until September 26.
