IN the blistering heat on Sunday Andover Advertiser staff took part in Winchester's first ever Race For Life fundraising event.
The 5k race, which started at River Park Leisure Centre was a huge success with 1,200 women taking part.
Some runners had been affected by cancer, others were running in memory of loved ones and the rest were there to raise money for a good cause - Cancer Research UK.
Reporter Natasha Lavattiata did the newsroom proud by completing the race in less than 30 minutes.
She was closely followed by Janet Lawler and Jenny Heyward from the finance department who came in at 31 minutes and 50 seconds.
The Andover Advertiser team raised more than £1,500.
