A HAMPSHIRE teenager who is offering to auction his virginity on the Internet is being flooded with offers - but from men.

David Vardy, 19, is asking for women to bid more than £6,000 to sleep with him.

More than 10,000 people have logged on to his web page and there have been several anonymous prospective offers

However, David admitted a growing number of e-mail inquires were coming from men from across the world.

Yesterday the Daily Echo revealed David was keen to give up his virginity if the price - and the woman - was right.

The multi-media and communications student from Southampton said: "There has been some men who have been e-mailing from around the world who I think are expressing a genuine interest but I won't be getting involved in that. Among the definite bids I've had is a 50-year-old woman from Texas and a guy from Philadelphia."

David, of St James' Road, originally placed the advert of Internet auction site eBay but operators deleted it from the site.

The Bournemouth University student has now transferred it to his own site, www.streamer.me.uk
