FIVE Australians, four South Africans and two New Zealanders will make up a local International XI to play the Southern Electric Premier League in a Twenty20 Challenge match at Hursley Park this Sunday (5.30pm).
The match will be played under strict Twenty20 rules, with the teams wearing coloured clothing and bowling with white balls out of black sightscreens.
Portsmouth's Eastern Province left-hand opener Carl Bradfield will captain the Overseas XI, which is comprised entirely of players from local Premier League clubs.
Bournemouth's Richard Scott, a former Hampshire player along with SEPL colleagues Jason Laney, Lee Savident and Richard Hindley, leads the Premier League team.
After the match, the SPL will select its sides from the two teams to play Hampshire in two specially-arranged Twenty20 matches at Bournemouth on Tuesday, June 29 and BAT Sports on Wednesday, June 30.
Admission to Sunday's match at Hursley Park is free.

Tickets are now on sale at the Rose Bowl - price £5 (adults) and £2 (children) - for the Premier League's two Twenty20 Challenge matches against Hampshire.
