THERE'S still time to make a claim for a share of £10,000 in our great community giveaway.
The applications to The Daily Echo and Combined Insurance Make it Happen awards have been coming through our post box thick and fast.
But we want to hear everyone's ideas, so put your thinking caps on and tell us why some extra cash could make a big difference to your community.
Anyone can enter and you don't have to belong to a registered charity.
The applications we have received so far range from all sorts of backgrounds, individuals and groups. It is clear that even a small amount of money could make a big difference for a lot of people.
The Daily Echo has teamed up with Kingston-upon-Thames based company Combined Insurance, which sponsors the awards. Staff at the insurance company decided to target Southampton and the surrounding area because it has a large number of customers in the region.
Mayor Parvin Damani, pictured above, has given her backing to the campaign and urged everyone to give it a go.
Councillor Damani said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for local people and a great example of one of the city's leading businesses working to sustain and develop local communities and the individuals that support them."
Don't miss your chance to apply for some Make it Happen cash. Fill in the application form, printed in today's Daily Echo, and tell us about your idea in no more than 50 words.
