FOLLOWING the success of last year's Music Hall at the Haymarket Theatre, Basingstoke, performers led by Helen Watson will again provide entertainment from a bygone age.
They will take to the stage of the venue on Saturday, June 26, in a 3pm matinee and night performance at 7.30pm.
When not appearing in Music Hall, Helen has played roles ranging from pantomime's fairy godmother in Cinderella at the Garrick Theatre in Lichfield to Bettie in a busking sequence of Wilson Keppal and Bettie's famous sand dance, featured in the recently-completed film Being Julia, starring Jeremy Irons and Michael Gambon.
Other appearances include Angela Walker in The Bill, as Janet Weiss in the Rocky Horror Picture Show and Hedda Gabler in Chekhov's classic of the same name.
Don't miss this programme of music and mirth - with just a hint of sauce!
The proceeds of Summer Time Music Hall will go to the local branch of Age Concern, and Shire Pharmaceuticals is sponsoring the event.
Tickets, priced £10 (£8 concessions), are available from the box office on 01256 465566.
