OAKRIDGE Centre: A new site office has now been set up just within the car parking area of the Oakridge Centre.

The centre manager is David Cobb, who can be contacted on 01256 462032.

LITTER: Although the litter wardens are doing excellent work, it does not help if some people still leave litter about. It is particularly noticeable in the Normanton Road area.

Please either bin your litter or take it home.

THE Vyne Community School fete and car boot sale: This is on Sunday, June 27. I will let you know more as soon as I have the details.

BREAST Cancer Self Help Group: The group meets once a month on a Tuesday, from 7pm to 9pm. The next meeting is on June 29. For further details, call Liz on 01256 328009.

CLASSES at The Vyne school: A free family Spanish class starts tomorrow, for three weeks, from 10am to noon.

A modern floral table decorations class will be held on June 19, from 10am to 2pm. This costs £12 plus materials.

PHARMACY: I notice that Lloyd's pharmacy has moved from the Oakridge Centre to a new shop further on.

Unfortunately, there is no disabled access for scooters or wheelchairs.

I have mentioned this to the borough council and I will let you know what happens.

If there are areas where dropped pavements are needed, contact one of your councillors.
