A LITTLE extra cash would make their dreams come true.
The children pictured above, their parents and playgroup leaders are the first contenders in our Make it Happen Awards scheme.
The Daily Echo and Combined Insurance Make it Happen Awards give all our readers the chance to claim a share of £10,000.
Anyone can enter and you don't have to belong to a registered charity,
Like these children at the Coxford Adventure Playground in Olive Road, Southampton, you just need a great idea that will improve the lives of people in your community.
Children at Coxford playground are desperate for some new fancy dress outfits. They're not asking for a lot of money, a small amount would make a big difference.
The project receives an annual grant of about £3,000 from the city council.
But with more than 30 children attending free of charge each day, staff are always looking for ways to boost funds.
Playworker Claire Cummings, said: "Every year thousands of children come here to play and the numbers continue to rise. Our services really are needed.
"The play facility is so successful because it is a safe place for children to come and be themselves. There aren't a lot of places like that.
"I was pleased to see the awards in the paper. It's a great opportunity and we are always looking for funding.
"We'd like to buy some new costumes. The children put on lots of plays and they would be thrilled to get some new outfits."
