MORE than 100 volunteers from Southampton Primary Care Trust have been presented with awards for their continuous hard work and dedication.
The event at the Hampshire Rose Bowl was organised as part of National Volunteers Week.
Those commended give up their free time to help with everything from gardening and driving to delivering newspapers, carrying out minor repairs to patients' clothing and administration work.
PCT chief executive Brian Skinner presented long service awards to the volunteers, accompanied by PCT chairman Pauline Quan-Arrow and Southampton Mayor Parvin Damani.
