IT'S a rare opportunity that can't be missed.
The Daily Echo and Combined Insurance Make It Happen Awards give every reader the chance to make a real difference to people in their community.
We've teamed up with Combined Insurance to give you the opportunity to apply for a share of £10,000.
Anyone can apply for an award. You don't need to be a member of a registered charity, you just need a great idea that will help a community group or worthy individual.
Southampton City Council leader Adrian Vinson is urging people to make the most of the scheme.
He said: "I am very happy to welcome this initiative which I am sure will provide a chance to strengthen communities and provide opportunities for groups across our city.
"The opportunity is there and I hope that many people will take advantage of it.
"I am in favour of projects that provide opportunities and activities for young people, for the elderly and for those who in one way or another may
be socially disadvantaged or isolated.
"I would particularly welcome schemes that make areas better places to live and work in."
Make your bid for some Make it Happen cash by completing the form below and tell us why your idea should win an award in no more than 50 words.
