ANYONE interested in finding out more about the quirky maritime history of Hamble along with tales about Nelson and author Nevile Shute should not miss "An amble around Hamble" this month.
People are invited to come along for the fascinating walk that also looks at the religious significance of oysters, shoe ales and loaves.
Meet at the Square car park at the top of the high street on June 26 at either 10am or 2pm depending on whether you fancy a morning or afternoon stroll.
A guided boat trip on the river bus to Manor Farm is also available on this day.
