YOUNG Jessica Donnachie came down to Earth with a bump as she raced in aid of a New Forest Scout group.
More than £6,000 was raised at this year's Eling Donkey Derby, which will go towards building a new headquarters for organisers of the Eling Sea Scouts.
Thousands of parents and children attended the event at Eling Recreation Ground at the weekend, with activities including bouncy castles, crockery smashing and a coconut shy.
Scout leader Paul Bullock said: "We had a really good turnout."
A decision on outline plans for the new Testwood Lakes headquarters in Totton, likely to cost about £300,000, is expected in July.
