FETE: On Saturday, June 12, from 1pm to 4pm with a barbecue from 12.30pm.
Come along and join the fun, games and stalls.
Take part in the circus workshop and learn how to juggle, stilt walk, spin plates and much more.
The Silchester School Band will be playing for your entertainment and tea will be served in the marquee.
There will also be a champagne draw every 20 minutes, along with the usual excellent book & plant stalls.
Entry is free, but you can buy a programme for 20p with a chance of a good prize with a lucky number.
PHOENIX club: The club had a very good meeting last Wednesday and heard stories about Silchester Common given by Robina Rand.
Mrs Rand also gave information on the cattle and what is planned for this year regarding conservation work.
In July, the Phoenix Club will be at a garden event.

BARN dance: Next Saturday evening after the fete, put on your dance outfits and be ready for Rogues Gallery and their caller.
This is a free evening, open to all age groups, including accompanied children.
There will be a pig roast, hot dogs and burgers to keep the hunger at bay.
This is Silchester Association's Summer Event and there will be a licensed bar in the Pavilion.
There was a crowd of more than 300 last year. Silchester, can you beat this in 2004?
