YOU have just 15 days to get your entry into the carnival procession up and running. This year the theme is musicals.
THERE is money up for grabs. The old Lychpit Residents Association has to be formally wound up and there is a small amount of money left over.
Mike Taylor, of 19 Inkpen Gardens, Lychpit, is looking for some suggestions regarding the disposal of these funds.
DON'T forget the parish council meeting, at 7.30pm on Monday at The Pavilion at the Recreation Ground.
GET in quick if you want a programme for the week of the St Mary's Festival. They cost £5 and are available from Linden Market, at the festival venues themselves and from the church during the festival.
They will allow two adults into the 20 village gardens on show during the festival, plus reduced-price entry to Basing House for two and many other benefits.
AN INDIAN Extravaganza, arranged by The Friends of St Mary's, is to be held in the Barn at Parkers Piece, in Crown Lane, on June 26.
This will include Indian dancers, a sitar player, an Indian bazaar and an Indian meal.
