AGM success: Brookvale Community Association will continue for another year.
During the AGM, several residents came forward to become the new committee for the year. The two mandatory positions for all charity committees are treasurer and secretary.
Though it took some time before anyone offered to become the secretary, a full committee of 10 was finally voted in.
During the first meeting of the new committee, two more residents came forward as co-opted members.
The outgoing committee wishes them every success in their new endeavours.

BCOT events: This year, a marquee will be erected in the North Site car park to cater for several events.
Tuesday, June 15, is the first night of the fashion show, with the second the following evening.
The Fun Day, on June 19, will also make use of the marquee.
The end of the BCOT year will be on June 25, with graduation ceremonies taking place on July 6 and 7 in the lower concourse.
This should see the parking congestion ease until September.
Meanwhile, any further sightings of football players in the village hall car park should be reported to Tom Herring of BCOT on 01256 306265.
