STAGE news: Stage school students were keen to take part in auditions on Saturday, May 15.
The auditions were for a variety of roles for a Free Choice Review.
On the last day of the summer term, Saturday, July 17, at 7pm, the review will be presented to an audience.
At present, the cast are getting together in groups, deciding what to do.
Some people are dancing and others are singing. Many are practising improvisation and discovering group dynamics.
Suggestions should be added to the suggestion box on the reception desk.
On stage, young people are rehearsing cowboy scenes with hillbilly music. They also sing Consider Yourself, with everyone contributing to the scene.
Before Christmas, on Saturday, November 27, Ebeneezer will be staged in the theatre at Brighton Hill Community College.
Tickets go on sale on September 4, priced £6, with concessions £5.

In the autumn, LAMDA examinations will take place in London.
Young people will enjoy a day out in London and see a performance at The Globe.
Stage school students have been successful in entertainments at the Haymarket and The Anvil.
It is hoped to involve parents in an adult workshop, with consideration being given to forming an adult drama class.
