FOUR Totally Tennis players qualified to compete in the British Tennis Coaches Association Under-13 Player Plus Tournament.
It's the only tournament of its kind where coaches are allowed on court with their players to give advice at the change of ends.
The tournament, at Nottingham Tennis Centre, attracted the top juniors in the country as well as players from France, Spain and Holland.
Totally Tennis' David Charlton, at 11 a year younger than most of the field, won one match out of his three in the qualifying rounds.
Alexander Mooney won two of his three and Eliot Rowberry scored a hat-trick of wins to qualify for the main event. He was joined there by fellow squad player Craig Cox (Surrey).
Cox won two matches before losing to the French number one. Rowberry was unable to get another win under his belt, losing his next four matches.
Travelling coach Shane Deacon said: "This tournament provides a great learning experience for the players and the coaches.
"Competing with some of the best in Europe, being on court with the player and actually seeing what your player is able to do with your advice was invaluable.
"There is a lot to do now as a result."
Hampshire's James Choudry won the event.
