THE all-singing, all-dancing, hit Broadway musical Crazy For You is coming to the New Victoria theatre, Woking, for one week only.
Featuring a cast of more than 40 talented performers, this glittering, tap-dancing extravaganza has won 24 major international awards and includes the classic Gershwin songs Slap That Bass, I Got Rhythm, They Can't Take That Away From Me, Embraceable You and Someone To Watch Over Me.
The year is 1930, when America was plunged into depression and many of the country's richest men lost their fortunes.
Bobby Child - heir to a banking business and aspiring performer - is sent to the run-down mining town of Deadrock in Nevada to repossess its theatre. But things don't quite go to plan as Bobby falls in love with Polly, the daughter of the theatre owner.
The superb cast includes Melanie Stace (Jim Davidson's Generation Game, Copacabana, Hot Shoe Shuffle), Darren Bennett (42 Street, Singin' In The Rain) and the hilarious comic duo of Christopher Beeny (Last of the Summer Wine) and Sue Hodge ('Allo 'Allo).
The show runs from Monday, June 14 to Saturday, June 19. Tickets start from £8.
