The Bishop's Waltham Festival gets under way on Monday, June 21st, and this year the town's young music talent will be grabbing a piece of the action.
Four bands, Blimp, Eclipse, Rebel Souls and The Shan, and the DJ, Liquid Funk, have been selected to play at Bishop's Waltham Palace on the Wednesday.
As well as profiling young bands and giving them the opportunity to show their talent, the festival has a "One World" theme in celebration of the Olympic year and will present artists of national and international calibre.
As well as music, there will be a variety of arts, crafts and food stalls from around the world.
Tickets may be purchased from Tashinga or H.E. Vecks in Bishop's Waltham High Street, or by calling the Theatre Royal, Winchester, on 01962-840440.
