Purbrook v Leckford FEW would have thought that on a grey and overcast day a normally uneventful fixture would turn into a record-breaking afternoon.
Purbrook won the toss and elected to bat, with James Iles and Will Prozesky opening.
Try as they might, Leckford's attack was unable to dislodge the opening pair until the 39th over.
Will's 100 came in the 95th minute, off 84 balls and James's 22 minutes later, off 90. James went on to score 124 with 17 fours and four sixes, being caught when the score had reached 292.
