FORTY years of loyal service was rewarded with a carriage clock and a champagne reception for one Southampton Marks & Spencer employee.
Delighted Gloria Gailor, 61, was then whisked away for a night on the town in London's West End and a stay in a top city hotel.
She was among 140 staff the high street giant was rewarding for faithful service.
She chose the carriage clock over the other gifts offered which were a large sum of money and shares in M&S.
Gloria, who lives in St. Denys, Southampton, began her Marks & Spencer career as a stockroom assistant in the Bournemouth store and now works in the lingerie section at WestQuay. She said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed working for Marks & Spencer and have met some wonderful people over the years"
