Burley CC all-rounder Paul Yates has hit another record-breaking double century - the third of his career.
Playing in Burley's Hampshire League Regional Division 1 South match at Fawley, Yates smashed an unbeaten 204 in his side's total of 267-3.
It is a record individual score for the division and follows his bowling feat of 8-17 three weeks ago, believed to be the best bowling record for the division.
Yates's remarkable knock contained 16 fours and 11 sixes and he scored 80 per cent of the runs while he was at the crease. Burley won the match by 117 runs with Yates taking 2-17 from ten overs - and a slip catch.
After seven overs, Yates broke his new bat - having broken his old bat the previous week scoring 100 not out in a cup match for Burley at Lymington.
