Fred Olsen Cruise Lines' 19,089 ton vessel, Braemar is due to leave Southampton's King George V dry dock after completing a short four-day long maintenance period tomorrow.
Formerly known as Crown Dynasty, the cruise ship is expected to leave the A&P shipyard in time to depart on a seven-night cruise which includes a visit to France for the commemorations to mark the 60th anniversary of the D-Day Landings in 1944.
A spokesman for the ship's owners said Braemar had undergone "preventative maintenance'' to her stabilisers and bow thruster while in dry dock.
Braemar is a regular caller to Southampton together with Fred Olsen's other ships Black Watch and Black Prince.
