JAZZ sensation Clare Teal visits The Anvil in Basingstoke next month as part of her UK tour.
Since her debut album That's The Way It Is was released in 2001 she has proved to be one of the most
talented newcomers to hit the jazz scene in years - joining the likes of Jamie Cullum in spearheading a revival of interest in the genre.
Nominated for two awards in this year's BBC jazz awards, the singer-songwriter, pictured right, has recently landed a major recording contract with Sony.
The multi-million-pound, multi-album deal is said to be the largest ever signing for a UK jazz artist.
You can see Clare at the The Anvil on Friday, June 18, starting at 7.45pm.
She will be joined by bossa nova stars As Meninas, featuring singer Monica Vasconcelos.
Box office: 01256 844244.
