Winchester City director of football David Malone has admitted that he would be "insulted" if no bid is made for any of his FA Vase winners.
Several of the team that triumphed at St Andrews 11 days ago have been the subject of interest from clubs in a higher league than the Wessex League champions and Malone has been approached by two Nationwide second division clubs about the possibility of signing Andy Forbes.
But as yet no official bid has been forthcoming.
Malone said: "No one's going anywhere if I can help it, the players that have attracted the interest are all under contract and it will take the offer of a substantial fee before we even think of selling (captain) Danny Smith, Andy Forbes or anyone else.
Former Bournemouth midfielder Smith, 21, is believed to be rated in the £15-£20,000 bracket while Winchester are likely to want around £30,000 for Forbes.
Malone added: "We're still waiting to hear back from clubs who have shown an interest in our players. I would be upset if no one had shown any interest after the success that we've had and I would be insulted if no offer is made for any of them."
