MR HEFTY Jazz Keith Smith and his All Stars team up with legendary crooner Georgie Fame (above) for a night of jazz and swing in From Basin Street to Broadway at The Corn Exchange on Saturday, June 12, at 7.45pm.
The show is a brief history of jazz from its early days to swing.
Many of the world's top jazz musicians will perform segments of the show in the styles of Louis Armstrong and Sydney Bechet, Fats Waller and Benny Goodman, while paying tribute to the compositions of Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Irving Berlin.
Georgie Fame had a string of number ones such as Yeh, Yeh, Getaway, Rosetta and Bonnie and Clyde.
