BEATEN comprehensively in terms of points, Applemore received top marks for effort in their 34-7 loss to Swan.

Swan, however, are an established team and this showed when the two teams met last Saturday. Their passing was crisp, tempo consistent and shooting deadly accurate - their class and experience just too big a hurdle for enthusiastic Applemore to overcome.
