John Reynolds consolidated his lead in the Think British Superbike Championship even though he had to be content with two second paces at Mondello Park on Sunday.
The number one rider for the New Forest-based Rizla Crescent Suzuki team lost out to Scott Smart when the Hawk Kawasaki rider swept past on the last corner for his first Superbike win.
Second time out HM Plant Honda rider Michael Rutter controlled the race with Reynolds this time getting the better of Smart in the battle for second spot. Rutter had fallen first time out while in the lead.
