HELL'S Kitchen star Al Murray will be cooking up a comedy treat at Theatre Royal Winchester this summer.
Murray, the mouthy pub landlord who is one of the celebrities putting their culinary skills to the test in ITV's latest reality show, has added 19 dates to his latest tour, including a return visit to the Theatre Royal.
So far in Hell's Kitchen, which involves TV chef Gordon Ramsay attempting to turn celebrities into first-rate cooks, Murray has emerged as one of Ramsay's favourites.
Wisely, he has kept the outrageous opinions for which he is famous in check in Ramsay's kitchen.
This is the second lot of new dates added to Murray's tour, called Giving It Both Barrels, making it his most successful yet.
Claiming to represent "decent, honest, hard-working, normal, tax-paying, law-abiding ordinary people who don't want to pay their speeding fines", Murray will be venting his spleen on subjects as diverse as love, France and the silent majority.
Giving It Both Barrels is Murray's fourth live show, following previous hits Who Dares Wines?, My Gaff, My Rules, and And a Glass of White Wine for the Lady!
Of his latest visit to Hampshire, the landlord says: "Winchester - capital of Wessex and home of King Arthur. But that was a long time ago. Get over it!"
You can see Al Murray at the Theatre Royal Winchester on Saturday, July 3.
