CAR boot: Hurst school holds a car boot sale in the playground every Saturday, from noon to 2pm.
A regular stall there is Living Words, a Christian bookstall, where you can go along and order books and Bibles for collection the following week if they don't have them there.
TABLE-TOP sale: The community centre is holding a table-top sale on July 11.
Tables are going fast at £5 each, so if you want one give the centre a call on 0118 9814538.
STORYTIME: All aboard! Go to a special session and wear your pyjamas, bring your teddy and cuddle up to listen to some bedtime stories on Wednesday, June 2, at 10.15am, at Tadley Library.
WORKS: I do hope that works being carried out outside the Co-Op will, when complete, put the area back to how it was before.
It seems to me that the work which was done to improve it is now being undone. Up to a few days ago there was a nice smooth surface.
I just wonder how long it will be after they have repaired and relayed the A340 before someone comes along and digs it up, spoiling the nice surface.
I understand that the utilities have been informed.
Work seems to be going well on the town's new cemetery, and it is beginning to take shape.
