DEMOLITION: Another affordable home bites the dust.
For those of you who haven't been along Redbridge Lane lately, the bungalow which used to belong to Mrs Donaldson is being demolished and a large five-bedroom house is being built in its place.
COUNTRY Watch: There is an AGM on Tuesday, at 8pm, in St Mary's parish room.
This organisation is doing a lot to preserve the boundaries of our village and monitor the beautiful countryside around it, so please go along and support Alan Reid.
FOOTBALL: Two weeks ago, at Newbury AFC, Basing Rovers under-12s lifted the Peter Houseman League Cup by beating the opposition 4-1.
They also won it last year as under-11s. Well done lads!
