MID Hampshire Primary Care Trust is inviting all young artists to take part in a competition designed to promote safety for children.
The competition is linked to this year's Child Safety Week from 21 to 27 June.
The theme for the week is 'Check it - don't chance it' and it highlights the risks of accidents and injuries associated with children's ages and stages of development.
The ultimate aim is to reduce the number of children being injured, disabled, maimed or disfigured through avoidable accidents. Youngsters are being asked to produce either: l An art design that could become a logo or
l an SMS message/strap line.
The logo designs and SMS text message/strap lines need to highlight an aspect of safety and must be understandable by children.
The winning designs will contribute to a poster and/or post cards and test messages.
Children from the ages of five to 15 are encouraged to take part. There are three groups, from five to seven years; eight to 10 years and 11 to 15.
