ONE Ludgershall man and his dog are running to raise money for the Ludgershall Scout Hall.
The Disability Act has made it necessary to carry out building work at the hut in Chapel Lane which is used by many different groups.
Modern toilets are part of the plans as well as a new floor. Five-year-old Max, a Staffordshire bull terrier-collie cross, will accompany his master John McConnell, aged 54, on the five-mile run.
The run will take place on 12 June at 1pm from The Crown pub in Ludgershall.
The pair have already had some support. Baz Reilly, Garrison Radio presenter, has donated gifts and Sarsen Housing Association is sponsoring the pair. If you would like to make a donation call the pub on 01264 790281.
