DIMI MASCARENHAS is leading an impressive array of Hampshire bowling performances in the county championship.

The all-rounder has taken more wickets than anyone else in the Second Division of the championship - or the First for that matter - with 25.

The nearest bowler to that figure is Durham's Mark Davies with 23.

Mascarenhas is also top of the Second Division bowling averages with each of his wickets costing only 10.56.

Mascarenas is well on course to beat his best-ever championship bowling haul for the county - 39 victims claimed in both 2003 and 2001.

There are FIVE Hampshire players in the top 10 of the divisional bowling averages - compared to only one, Nic Pothas, in the top 30 of the batsmen.
