SILCHESTER Players' production of Tiptoe Through the Tombstones, a comedy thriller by Norman Robbins, begins today in Silchester Village Hall.
Performances also take place tomorrow and next Friday and Saturday, May 21 and 22.
The play takes place in the library of Monument House - a large, old Gothic house on the edge of a swamp that has not been occupied for some time.
Mortimer Crayle, the crusty old family lawyer, and his secretary Zoe have gathered the last remaining Tomb family members at the old house, ostensibly to inform them about their inheritance. But Crayle has designs on the inheritance, which demands the death of all the Tombs.
Shows begin at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £4 for concessions and can be obtained by calling 0118 981 5600.
